Srirangapattana

This town is located a mere 13 km from the city of Mysore. It is unique because it is enclosed by the river Kaveri on all sides, making it an island. 

It is well known for the historical Ranganathaswamy temple and acts as an important pilgrimage site. Moreover, the town is just located off NH-275, making it perfect for visiting on the way.

Even though the name says film city, this structure, present on Mysore Road, is a palace, with water fountains near the entrance. This project is known for its movie production, film school, and technical expertise related to movies. 

Innovative film city houses a variety of attractions like aqua kingdom, dino park, mini-golf, and a big boss house, among others. It caters to people of all ages.

Krishna Raj Sagara (KRS)

The KRS dam is a popular attraction located near the Vrindavan Gardens. The structure is 130 feet in height and 8600 feet in length.

The dam was built across the Kaveri River and is named after the ruler of that time- Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV.
